How to change difficulty in Warhammer Realms of Ruin
Changing the campaign's difficulty is only possible between missions.
From the chapter select menu, click the button above 'play' that indicates your difficulty. On consoles, you'll need to press a button that it prompts you to - on PlayStation, it's triangle. There, you'll find four difficulty settings to choose from.
- Lorekeeper is designed for players new to real-time strategy games.
- Enemy AI is set to easy difficulty.
- Warrior is suited to players that are familiar with the genre.
- Enemy AI is set to medium difficulty.
- Veteran is for players that are seeking a challenge.
- Enemy AI is set to hard difficulty.
- Champion offers the "greatest challenges that the realms can offer".
- Enemy AI is set to very hard difficulty.
The game's chapters all offer interesting bonus challenges. The speedrun challenges are easiest to complete on a lower difficulty, so there's no shame in bumping it down to get some sweet, sweet XP.
