Lucasfilm struck gold with their Disney+ show The Mandalorian. The adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu (Baby Yoda) immediately captured the hearts of viewers. While many fans were expecting a hint for season three at the end of The Mandalorian, instead they got a tear for The Book of Boba Fett.
Not much is known about The Book of Boba Fett at the time of writing. We do know that the show will follow Star Wars' iconic bounty hunter on some new adventures. However, it does appear the show is getting more than one season.
The Book of Boba Fett Season 2
In a leak posted to Reddit, fans have discovered evidence that The Book of Boba Fett will have a second season. Fans found images of production stickers for The Mandalorian, known as Buccaneer, and the upcoming Boba Fett show.
Surprisingly, one of the stickers for Boba Fett states that the team was working on “season 1” of the show. The only other Star Wars show to have Season 1 attached to its production items was The Mandalorian, which already had a second season planned.
Furthermore, Disney has always referred to The Book of Boba Fett as an “original series". For comparison, single season shows like WandaVision, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka are referred to as “limited series". With that in mind, it does seem like Boba Fett will have a second season.
