New images from the upcoming Star Wars: Andor have leaked online that appear to show a converted cafe off the coast of England.
The images appear to show a local cafe in Cleveleys being converted into a Star Wars themed location. Known as Cafe Cove, the restaurant is located on the Cleveleys Promenade which is a popular tourist spot.
Star Wars: Andor is an upcoming live-action Star Wars series set five years before the events of Rogue One. The show follows Rogue One’s Cassian Andor during the formative years of the rebel alliance.
Little is known about the TV show so far, but it would appear the cafe is going to act similar to Mos Eisley’s Cantina.
Star Wars: Andor
As previously mentioned, very little is known about the TV show. However, we know it is set five years before Rogue One, and that it will feature tales of espionage similar to the film.
Star Wars: Andor experienced similar delays to other movies and TV shows because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Now that more countries are removing restrictions, it would appear Disney is keen to get back into filming.
Several Rogue One actors will reprise their roles in Andor including Alan Tudyk as K-2SO and Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma
British director Toby Haynes directed the first three episodes of the series. Toby was chosen for his work on Doctor Who, Sherlock, Being Human and Black Mirror.
Upcoming Star Wars Projects
Star Wars: Andor is one of a number of shows Disney is currently producing. Images leaked recently of the Mos Eisley set for the upcoming Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi show. The series will explore Obi-Wan’s life ten years after the download of Anakin Skywalker.
