This initiative allows Galaxy smartphone users to sell their devices anytime without buying a new one. Customers can apply for the program by going to the "Galaxy Easy Compensation" page on Samsung.com, checking the estimated worth of their phone, and completing the form. Eligible models include flagship series like Galaxy S23, S22, S21, S20, Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 5, Z Flip 4, and Z Flip 3. This list may vary according to regional availability.

Once a phone is sent to Samsung via courier, it is evaluated and classified into one of three categories: Excellent, Good, or Recycle. Payment is then made according to the device's condition. Samsung has partnered with Likewize to handle the logistics, including collection and payments.

Jeong Ho-jin, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, expressed optimism about the program's potential to enhance the long-term value of Galaxy products and promote a circular economy.

Beginning in South Korea, this program is a step towards global sustainability and a practical alternative for consumers who dispose of their old smartphones responsibly.
