Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are set to receive their first DLC soon, which is expected to bring back some fan-favorites creatures to the region of Paldea. However, Game Freak is weirdly advertising the game’s DLC while the first part still has no release date.

Fans noticed this when the official Pokémon UK Twitter posted about the second part of this DLC package. Many fans wondered why the company would hype the second DLC while the first content add-on is still nowhere to be seen.

Naturally, fans made plenty of jokes at the expense of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Hopefully, the intern handling this Twitter account takes it in stride.

“Pokemon we need to do Part 1 first,” said @PhillyBeatzU.

“Bro you didnt even tell us the release date of part I and are yet alrdy advertising part II… are you serious?” said @Tiaowa.

“WE NEED A RELEASE DATE!!!!” shouted @3ZPZ4ME.

All we know about the DLC’s release is that Part 1 comes out in Fall 2023 while Part 2 is scheduled for Winter 2023. Both parts are also one package so fans can’t buy Part 1 without getting Part 2, which has been Nintendo’s M.O.

Despite not impressing fans with outstanding visuals, there is some excitement for the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC. Numerous fan-favorite critters are set to return, while the new monsters also look really interesting. Both DLC parts also have new clothes for the player’s avatar, which is a godsend since the base game keeps players in their student uniforms.

No matter what the reception for this DLC package is, it seems that Scarlet and Violet will remain controversial entries. Despite promises to make the game run better, both games don’t perform too well and the graphics aren’t great. While the gameplay has been praised, there have also been bugs that have made online raids annoying.
