Kevin Feige’s Star Wars movie remains a mystery to many but a fan-favorite Marvel writer will be penning this project. Michael Waldron, the screenwriter of MCU hits like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, confirms that he’s still writing Feige’s movie about a galaxy far far away.
It’s not yet known if Kevin Feige’s Star Wars movie is going to be the next one coming to theaters. After all, Rian Johnson and Taika Waititi are also supposedly working on their own Star Wars projects. Hopefully, the MCU writer can bring some focus to the franchise since that’s what the last trilogy was lacking.
Michael Waldron is still working on Kevin Feige’s Star Wars movie
Taking part in Deadline’s Hero Nation podcast, the Doctor Strange 2 screenwriter confirms that he is still indeed writing the project. Waldron confirms that it’s one of the movies that’s going to keep him busy aside from MCU screenplays, showing that he’s a busy man.
Fans hoping for new details on this Star Wars movie will be disappointed as Waldron does not give out any new information. All we know is that he is still working on whatever this Star Wars movie is going to be. Let’s just hope that it’s a good movie and knowing Kevin Feige’s style, it should be fine if a little too safe and joke-y.
"Obviously, I'm kind of busy, off writing this little Star Wars movie as well."

Is Kevin Feige’s Star Wars movie still far far away?
Considering the lack of updates, it's fair to say that we won’t be seeing Kevin Feige’s mystery Star Wars movie anytime soon. Even the beloved May the 4th didn’t have any news on this big film project. We suppose the upcoming comic cons can be the stage for this revelation but we won’t be betting on that.
At least fans aren’t starved for Star Wars content these days. Obi-Wan Kenobi will be coming to Disney+ later this month on May 27. Fans can also enjoy two seasons of The Mandalorian and one episode in The Book of Bobba Fett.
