Hawkeye on Disney+ acted as both a sendoff for Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and a starting point for Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, who looks to be taking the Hawkeye mantle from here on out.
Unsurprisingly, given how Hawkeye ended, Marvel has plans for Kate Bishop to return in more MCU projects. Furthermore, it seems that a Young Avengers movie is in the cards. At least it the character’s history is anything to go by.
Where is Kate Bishop headed next?
Though no official announcement from Disney or Marvel has been made, a report from Variety states that Hailee Steinfeld is set to appear in “other MCU projects down the line.” It’s not yet known when we’ll see Hailee return as Kate Bishop but given the ending to Hawkeye, there’s a good chance that she will be chilling with Clint Barton before trouble arrives.
Rumours claim that Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop might appear in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania since the movie will have Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie, now played by Kathryn Newton, in a bigger role. Cassie Lang and Kate Bishop are in the Young Avengers team so seeing them together would be a big moment for Marvel fans.

Emmy season for Hailee and Marvel
While we wait for an official MCU announcement regarding Hailee Steinfeld’s return as Kate Bishop, the actress has had quite the Emmy season. Hawkeye has two Emmy nominations and Arcane got nominated for Best Animated Series. Granted, Steinfeld herself doesn’t have any big actress nominations but starring in two Emmy-nominated shows is far from a bad thing.
Hawkeye isn’t the only Marvel series to get Emmy nominations as Loki and Moon Knight also got their fair share. Loki has a respectable six nominations while Moon Knight managed to land eight. It’s been a big year for Marvel on Disney+ as more shows keep coming and coinciding with their movies, like Ms. Marvel.
Fans who haven’t seen it yet can check out Hawkeye on Disney+, starring Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld.
