Collecting the toolbox necessary to complete the Gray Zone Warfare Tools of the Trade quest is easier said than done. You’ll be sent into the center of the starting cities to retrieve tools for Artisan, meaning you can all but guarantee you’ll encounter enemies. Thankfully though, once you know where to find the tools for Artisan in the Tools of the Trade Task, it’s not too hard to complete.
So, dust off your Gray Zone Warfare map and grab the best weapons in the Gray Zone Warfare meta because this is what you need to do to beat the Gray Zone Warfare Tools of the Trade quest.
How to Complete Gray Zone Warfare Tools of the Trade Quest
To find the toolbox to complete Tools of the Trade in Gray Zone Warfare, you must head inside the small house next to the Construction Site location in Nam Thaven, Kiu Vongsa, or Pha Lang, depending on which faction you belong to.
The item you need to collect, the Artisan’s Toolbox, is a large black box placed on a wooden workshop table next to the backdoor of the building.
Depending on which Gray Zone Warfare faction you chose, you will need to complete Tools of the Trade in a different town. Thankfully though, each faction's starting town is mirrored, so while the coordinates are different, all the landmarks remain the same. Nevertheless, here is where you can find the toolbox for each of the three factions:
Crimson Shield - Kiu Vongsa:
Mithras Security Systems - Nam Thaven:
Lamang Recovery Initiative - Pha Lang:
So, once you’ve accepted the quest from Artisan, head over to the Construction Site - near the Town Hall, Convenience Store, and Warehouse locations - and walk into the small house next to the building site. With a colorful parasol and several water barrels outside, it’s easy to identify.
Gray Zone Warfare Tools of the Trade Rewards
For completing the Tools of the Trade quest in Gray Zone Warfare, you will earn:
- AKMN
- 400 XP
- Artisan vendor reputation
Although it does send you into the center of town, which means avoiding or fighting your way through several groups of enemies, the rewards for completing Tools of the Trade are fairly strong. The AKMN is one of the strongest weapons in the Gray Zone Warfare weapons list, and you can never go wrong with vendor reputation as it’s crucial for unlocking new items.
If you’re having a hard time beating Tools of the Trade though, I recommend you head into the Gray Zone Warfare PvE mode, Joint Operations. Here, things are a little calmer and you’re more likely to find allies.
So, that’s how to complete Gray Zone Warfare Tools of the Trade for all three factions, as well as the rewards you’ll get for doing so. With the Gray Zone Warfare wipe system periodically resetting your equipment, don’t be afraid to put your rewards to good use.
