Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War might be an absurdly long title for a game that isn't either, based on a Fall Out Boy song or, a JRPG, but that's just how it is.
A lot of people are very exciting about the next CoD, and those same people are probably also excited about the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
That brings us to a couple of questions. Should people buy this generation's version of the game, or should they wait?
If they do get one or the other, will they be able to play with their friends who are stuck on the other side?
Will Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War be cross-gen
Well, according to a datamine revealed by Twitter user @theMW2Ghost, it looks as though there will be something called the cross-gen bundle.
It's very likely that this will cost more than the standard edition of the game, but we've no way of knowing how much more.
It's a shame that Activision isn't supporting cross-gen in a less expensive way, but we'd love to be proved wrong about this and have both the cross-gen and standard edition cost the same amount somehow.
That's very unlikely though, so we'll just have to wait and see how much more they're expecting from people.

Will Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War have cross-play?
Given that Warzone has cross-play, it would be very strange indeed for Black Ops: Cold War not to have it.
This is especially true when a lot of people are likely to either buy the next-gen version or the current-gen one.
Not allowing cross-play would cut off huge swathes of people from wanting to buy the game because they'd potentially be unable to play with friends.
So yes, it should have cross-play.
