In this post, we will discuss how to connect the Apple Vision Pro to a PC and what you need to know.

Can I connect Apple Vision Pro to my PC?

Apple allows users to use the Apple Vision Pro as a private and portable 4K display for Mac and Windows PCs. While connecting it to Mac devices is easy, Apple doesn't allow a direct connection for Windows devices.

However, users can connect their PC to the Vision Pro headset using the Luna Display application and dongle. However, there are some prerequisites you should know before getting started:

  • Operating System: Latest version of Windows 11/10 64-bit
  • Processor: 2 GHz or faster Intel or AMD Processor with 64-bit Support
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520, AMD Radeon RX Vega 3, NVIDIA GeForce 820M or later.
  • Hard Drive Space: 1 GB
  • WiFi/Network: 802.11n or wired ethernet

Also, ensure your device's GPU has a built-in USB-C port. Do keep in mind that adapters are not supported.

It's worth noting that Luna Display isn't supported on Surface devices, mini PCs, and custom-built PCs.

  • When the Apple Vision Pro is connected to a Windows PC, users can not use their eyes as cursors. They can only navigate through the keyboard and mouse.
  • Also, users can create multiple displays similar to a Mac device. One unique feature is that users can engage with the Windows screen via touch.

However, some functionalities, like eye tracking, are restricted; the ability to use the Vision Pro as a high-quality display enhances its versatility.
