Black Ops Cold War Stuck on Loading Screen: How to fix Cold War black screen and freezing on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

If you have recently started trying to play Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, then you may have encountered an issue where the game becomes stuck in a perpetual loop on the loading screen.

How to fix stuck on Black Ops Cold War loading screen

Linking your account from your console to your Activision account is what you need to do in order to fix the loading screen issue. Here is how you do it:

  • In the top right corner of the screen will be the account name. Hover over this, and then click where it says Linked Accounts
  • You then have the option of linking your CoD account to the relevant platform account - Battle.net, Steam, Xbox or PlayStation
  • Once you have linked the relevant account, try to relaunch the game

With the account linked, you should no longer experience the infinite loading screen of doom.

What causes the Infinite Loading Screen?
