Apex Legends season 8 is here, and it has brought with it a glitch: some players, after updating, are finding all the visuals to be a little bit darker than usual.

How to fix the 'everything looks dark' glitch
As suggested on Twitter by Respawn's Community Coordinator, there is a fix for PC players: you just have to 'repair your game'. But what does that mean?
Well, if you were wondering how to repair your game in Apex Legends, these are the steps you need to follow:
Open Origin > Game Library > Right click on Apex Legends > Repair > Wait for it to finish > Return to the game and play as normal.
This will only work for PC players, though. If you're having this problem on Xbox One or PS4, you might want to try uninstalling and re-installing the game - that should have a similar effect, we hope!
