OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, is trying something new for the New Year by asking his X followers for advice. This move comes amid his rivalry with Elon Musk, who has openly criticized the company's direction.

Altman accused Musk of being a bully who likes picking fights with other leaders like Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. And with Musk's xAI chatbot, Grok AI, competing directly with OpenAI's ChatGPT, the tension between the two has grown.

Recently, Altman shared some insights into their feud, revealing that Musk once supported OpenAI's growth as a for-profit company and even merged it with Tesla. But now, he is trying to block OpenAI from growing as a profit company by filing legal actions against it.

Despite all of this, OpenAI continues growing. The company raised $6.6 billion in funding in October, bringing its worth to $157 billion. Altman contacted his X followers on Christmas Eve to maintain this momentum, asking what OpenAI could build or improve in 2025.

The response he received was highly overwhelming, with users sharing practical and creative ideas. Users asked for better turn detection for voice chats, big context lengths, improvements in Sora, the creation of family accounts for kids, etc.

With the suggestions, OpenAI seems dedicated to improving user experience by offering new features and fixing the existing ones.
