Will there be a Disney+ app on PS5, and how will players get it?

Disney’s streaming service was long-anticipated, and it finally arrived last November in the USA, alongside the UK and other regions in March of this year.

With some great documentaries such as ‘Howard’ and exclusive shows like ‘The Mandalorian’ on the service, it’s been released on almost every device known this year.

How can Disney+ be downloaded?

We're hoping that given Disney+ comes as a button on the Media Remote that it could come already pre-installed on the PS5. However, we can't be sure about this, but we'd at least expect that the button would take you to the Disney+ download page.

If you don't buy the Media Remote, you'll no longer have to navigate through the PlayStation Store's App section to download Disney+ on November 12.

Instead, you'll use the new Media space to navigate between and install your desired streaming or media apps, all while using the new Control Centre to skip between apps, shows, or music much easier than before.
