Google has announced they're going to be releasing a brand-new version of Chromecast, and this one is a doozy.
So, here's what you need to know about the new Google Chromecast, which is called Chromecast with Google TV.
What does the new Google Chromecast do?
The new Google Chromecast has a bunch of cool features that make it worth paying attention to.
This version features up to 4K HDR resolution, a voice remote with Google Assistant, the ability to control your other smart home devices, and even (eventually) the ability to work with Stadia.
You might ask yourself why this new Google product isn't supporting Google Stadia straight away. You might ask that, but we don't know either.
Also, on top of all of that, you get Google TV, which consolidates all of your TV apps into a single place, making your life much easier.

As it stands, the product itself is expected to be available from the 15th of October, which is only two weeks away.

Chromecast with Google TV will cost you $49.99 or £59.99 depending on where you live.
We're not 100% sure why the UK gets hit with that big old increase, but there are probably some reasons beyond our understanding. Or they're just punishing us.
