Users can connect Vision Pro with all Apple devices, including Mac. But is it possible to connect it to a PC? Connecting the Apple Vision Pro to a PC is possible but with certain restrictions.

In this post, we will discuss how to connect the Apple Vision Pro to a PC and what you need to know.

Can I connect Apple Vision Pro to my PC?

Apple allows users to use the Apple Vision Pro as a private and portable 4K display for Mac and Windows PCs. While connecting it to Mac devices is easy, Apple doesn't allow a direct connection for Windows devices.

However, users can connect their PC to the Vision Pro headset using the Luna Display application and dongle. However, there are some prerequisites you should know before getting started:

  • Operating System: Latest version of Windows 11/10 64-bit
  • Processor: 2 GHz or faster Intel or AMD Processor with 64-bit Support
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 520, AMD Radeon RX Vega 3, NVIDIA GeForce 820M or later.
  • Hard Drive Space: 1 GB
  • WiFi/Network: 802.11n or wired ethernet

Also, ensure your device's GPU has a built-in USB-C port. Do keep in mind that adapters are not supported.

It's worth noting that Luna Display isn't supported on Surface devices, mini PCs, and custom-built PCs.

  • Open the App Store on your Apple Vision Pro VR headset and navigate to iPhone & iPad Apps. Here, search and install the "Luna Display" app and launch it.
  • Install the "Luna Display" app on your Windows PC, plug in the "Luna Display Dongle", and launch the app.
  • Next, follow the instructions on-screen to connect both devices. Once connected, users can choose whether to mirror or extend the display in Windows settings. Also, they can select only one display and turn off the other.
  • When the Apple Vision Pro is connected to a Windows PC, users can not use their eyes as cursors. They can only navigate through the keyboard and mouse.
  • Also, users can create multiple displays similar to a Mac device. One unique feature is that users can engage with the Windows screen via touch.

You have now successfully connected your PC to your Apple Vision Pro. The headset is designed for seamless integration with Apple devices; connecting it to a Windows PC is possible. However, some functionalities, like eye tracking, are restricted; the ability to use the Vision Pro as a high-quality display enhances its versatility.
