Apple event scheduled for NEXT WEEK: Will the iPhone 12 finally be revealed? Here's where and when to tune in


With speculation about the iPhone 12 continuing to fly around the web, Apple has got our attention by scheduling a 'special' event for next week.

Of course, since Apple is never far away from the news, this isn't the first time the tech giant has made headlines this week: just yesterday we were reporting the news that Apple has stopped selling third-party audio products, which should be proof enough that something is coming.

When is the October 2020 Apple event?

As TechRadar's David Lumb has pointed out on Twitter, Apple has shared some official imagery to hype up its newly-announced event.

The image in question, which we've embedded below, tells us that Tuesday 13th October 2020 is the day on which Apple will lift the lid on whatever it is planning to reveal here...

The advertised time is 10am PDT, which translates to other time zones as 1pm ET or 6pm BST here in the UK. So that's the time you'll want to tune in, if you're in any of those time zones, on 13th October 2020.

Or if you're in Australia, due to the massive time difference, you'll want to tune in at 4am AEDT on 14th October 2020. And who wouldn't want to do that?

Where can you watch the Apple event in October 2020?

As you can see in Apple's official image above, the place to tune in will be Apple.com itself.

We wouldn't be surprised to see streams popping up in places like YouTube and Twitter, as well, but you can't go wrong by simply heading to Apple's main site.

Will the iPhone 12 be revealed?

As for what could be revealed during this event, there's no shortage of iPhone 12 predictions going around, and this virtual event could be Apple's big day of actually announcing its new flagship smartphone.

Also, the words "Hi, Speed" in the official image have got us thinking about 5G: ould Apple be planning an announcement that relates to that super-fast new network?

Of course, with Apple also having Macbook laptops, Mac computers, AirPods headphones, HomePod speakers, Apple Watch smartwatches and many more products on its docket, there are loads of random things which could make an appearance here. We'll just have to wait and see!
